Target isn't waiting for Sunday's super-secret Xbox 360 Pro price drop, as it has already dropped the price on its official website to get a jump on the competition. The site now lists the console for just $299.99, although the console is not available online and only in stores at present.
So on the 1% chance that Microsoft actually wasn't planning to announce a price drop (yeah, right), Target has gone and made the decision for them. Wise consumers waiting for the drop should buy now, rather than wait for the masses to get wind of it via press release and Sunday ads. Because once that happens, they'll likely disappear fast.
