Two upcoming developers become one.
Six months after a failed attempt at acquiring UK publisher Eidos, Elevation Partners, a venture capitol fund co-founded by key entertainment figures such as former president of EA John Riccitiello, former CFO of Apple Fred Anderson, and of course, media darling Bono of U2 fame, has revealed a $300 million merger between RPG giant Bioware and successful action studio Pandemic. The new Bioware/Pandemic Studios will be held by Riccitiello, Bioware's Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka, and Pandemic's Andrew Goldman and Josh Resnick and will reportedly operate like business as usual, continuing to publish games under existing partners and keep all studios and employees.
