ReviewCentre.com, the UK's largest consumer review site, today announced that Microsoft's Xbox 360 has been voted 2006's best game console. With over 17-million monthly page views, site visitors had a lot to say:
“Nothing, but nothing currently comes close to the 360 in terms of graphics or sound,” said one gamer.
Other gamers described the 360 as “a masterpiece” and “a childhood dream come true.”
The 360’s award is based on averages of ratings and user comments. In particular, the Xbox 360's graphics earned an impressive 8.3 out of 10 rating at the Review Centre site.
Sure the 360 is a great console, but this journalist takes subjective ratings like this with a grain of salt. Especially since his own Xbox 360 is MIA after a failed attempt by Microsoft to replace it.
