In a financial posting on its website yesterday, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has been delayed until the company's 2nd fiscal quarter, which runs from February through April 2006.
While the delay is disappointing, it's not unexpected given the sheer size of the game, Bethesda's developing for two platforms simultaneously, and the series' history of bug-riddled games. Hopefully the result will be a bug-free experience, and for the Xbox 360 in particular new features previously only supported on PC (such as the construction set).
