Madden NFL 07 HOF

EA has announced that it will release Madden NFL 07 Hall of Fame for Xbox 360 and PS2. This special version will also release on August 22nd alongside the regular versions, and feature over two hours of bonus DVD content.

The PS2 version's content will include:

  • PlayStation 3 Unveiled - G4TV provides a sneak peek at the making of Madden NFL 07 for PlayStation 3 with exclusive gameplay footage, content previews, and more.
  • Hall of Famer: John Madden - A career retrospective highlighting Coach Madden's days as Oakland Raiders head coach and award-winning calls from the broadcast booth.
  • Inside Madden Studios - ESPN's Trey Wingo delivers game production insights and exclusive interviews with the team behind the game.
  • Exclusive Music Interviews - The hottest acts featured in Madden NFL 07 reveal the inspiration behind their music.

The Xbox 360 version will replace the PlayStation 3 feature with Madden Nation, Season One (a look at the program that aired on ESPN), but will otherwise be the same.

Madden NFL 07 Hall of Fame will retail for $59.99 on PlayStation 2 and $69.99 on Xbox 360.

$70 for the 360 version.... **** you EA!

$69.99 is just for the special edition one. The standard version will be at the $59.99 price point... or just wait for 4 weeks for it to drop to $39.99. They like punching you in the stomach to the tune of $20.

This is like the most pointless "special edition" of any game I have ever seen. There is not one feature that makes it worth the extra $$$ to buy the HOF version. EA cameup with this idea at the last minute just so that can make a little extra cash from their most die-hard fans.

yeah they should at least include something extra in the game like when they used to have the secret teams and secret stadiums and whats 70 bucks -- to me straight cash homey

its definitely not worth it, and who really likes John Madden anyways? He probably just gets extra bonuses if they sell a lot (which they will). btw luke your context to the moss quote was horrible. you could have done this:

"Hey Luke did you write the check to EA for Madden?"

"I don't right checks, straight cash homie. $70 aint **** to me"

i dont know, you are already paying 60 bucks for a game...what is an extra ten bucks? I think it would be a lot more appealing if there were upgraded game options...like All Madden Teams with actual names and not numbers?
