In their storied career to date, Capcom has provided fighting game fans with a plethora of the sort of high quality button mashers that keep fans of the genre smiling. Their latest addition to the scorecard: Street Fighter X Tekken. While this may seem a bit odd, with Street Fighter being primarily a 2D series and Tekken being a 3D one, Capcom did a great job of combining the two. The game plays out as more of a “2D game with 3D graphics” a la Super Street Fighter IV. In other words, the characters are designed with 3D in mind, but fighting takes place on a 2D plane. Only during super attacks are moves displayed in 3D.
