Starting November 1st, the price of Xbox Live Gold Membership will be going up in North America and the UK. The price change was revealed today on Major Nelson’s webpage. The current price for a 12 month subscription to Gold in the US will increase by $10 to $59.99 from $49.99. A one month subscription will increase to $9.99 from $7.99 and the 3 month subscription will be raised $5 to $24.99 from $19.99.
Canadian Gold members will also have to deal with a $1 increase in a One Month Gold subscription bringing it to $9.99 from $8.99. Only the 12 Month Gold Membership will change in Mexico. The new 12 month subscription will cost 599 Pesos instead of 499 Pesos. Across the pond, UK Gold Members will see an increase of 1 GBP to 5.99 GBP from 4.99 GBP for the one month Gold Subscription.
Microsoft is currently offering gamers a chance to lock in a 12 month Gold Membership for $39.99 with auto-renewal which reverts to the new $59.99 price after the 12 months expire.
