Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled

As promised back in July, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson – known to some as Larry Hryb, Microsoft Director of Programming – this week confirmed that today's Xbox LIVE Arcade title is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled. The third of five titles in the second annual Summer of Arcade, Re-Shelled will be followed by Trials HD and Shadow Complex in the weeks to come.

Like last week's Marvel VS Capcom 2, Turtles in Time is a remastered version of the original arcade of the same name. Among the changes, the fearsome foursome can now save New York City with new high definition, 3D graphics and enhanced animations. The game also takes advantage of Xbox LIVE, allowing you to now play with up to four players online. As an added bonus, Re-Shelled is now available for 800 Microsoft Points (or $10.00 USD), not the originally announced 1200 ($15).

Also announced, this week's Deal of the Week is R-Type Dimensions. Ordinarily priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers can now pick up this retooled compilation of the classic shooter for a more palatable 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
